Okay I am done with Episode 4. Will begin the season finale tonight. Can't wait to get back home! :D

I am sure the finale will have some shockers going by what the other episodes had to offer till now. Episode 4 was good but nothing like 2 may be. The script has been brilliant so far.

I think Vernon may not have kidnapped Clem after all. That guy was way too decent to do something like that. I am not sure where his group fled to. And the anonymous guy who kept communicating through the walkie talkie - I am curious to know who this fcuker is! Although I reckon he may not have bad intentions.

I really appreciate what Ben did though. I understand he tends to be nervous all the time and he did <that> with the best intentions but ultimately it had some bad consequences. :(

especially Carley. Poor girl. When Lilly shot her, I reloaded that point to see if I could save her but alas. :(
 
Completed the title yesterday and hands down, this is the Game of the Year for me beating Dishonored by a great deal. :hail:


Dishonored was a great game no doubt but this title which was on a totally different scale when it comes to the experience, left me wanting for more towards the end. The finale was a befitting conclusion to the season as well and looks like the developers intended to keep it short and simple at 5 episodes with each episode lasting anywhere between 2 to 3 hours and the finale clocking a little less than 2 hours. Kudos to Telltale Games for pulling off a brilliant title amidst the heat of all the AAA titles launching this quarter and winning by a mile.

Guys who've played Heavy Rain and Indigo Prophecy will appreciate the interactive drama genre. There are moments that will make you shed tears, laugh at a whacky character or a situation, arouse stress or anxiety during an intense sequence which calls for a hasty decision that might affect the gameplay, plenty of OMG! and WTF! moments etc. In short, it was a brilliant game and worthy of the GOTY award. There are several characters whom we may get emotionally attached to during the gameplay. Clementine for instance. This little eight year old girl was portrayed so maturely and she had this cuteness associated with her. I chose Lee to be always kind, caring and honest towards her and towards the end I suppose it paid off.

I chose not to amputate Lee's arm and carry on that way as I knew he might die of blood loss later on. Clem killed her own abductor using the meat cleaver on the desk and I chose Clem to shoot Lee. Fcuk! What a tragedy that the walker who remained in the blindspot near the garbage had to bite his arm! :(

Eagerly awaiting the next season. :)

Also are the episodes like separate disks?
 
The game isn't available on retail yet. It's Digital download only. The retail version will release in December.
 
Completed all 5 episodes. This has to be one of the most gripping storyline games I have played in a long, long time. It was difficult for me to pause and even take a short break to make myself a cup of coffee while I was playing through the episodes... it's that engrossing! Choices, decisions, interacting with each of the characters and getting to know them better as the episodes unfold, it's like a book that I didn't want to put down on the table till I finished reading it ( I mean playing it!).

A big thank-you to @Gannu for recommending this saga to me. Looking forward to Walking Dead season 2. :D

A gem of a game it is and the devs. now have huge responsibilities with Season 2.
 
Finished all the five episodes. Was almost in tears by the end. But I had to make clementine shoot.

What a good game. No doubt this was game of the year 2012.

Really grew attached with the characters. Especially Clem.

Can't wait for the sequels now.

completed 4 episodes. Waiting to complete the 5th.
All the 4 episodes of them are good. Would have never tried, if the first episode was given for free in Xbox as an offer.
