As you fill your SSD it becomes slower. That is why I would recommend a minimum of 100-128 GB and preferably 160-200 GB if you get it from abroad!
 
after more than 10 years on Windows XP , finally took the plunge to Win 7 :p

Please tell me how can i increase Primary Hard Disk rating. I have 500GB SATA @7200rpm divided into 3 partitions.

AMD Phenom II X4 945 @ 3375 MHz
Asus M4A785D-M PRO Northbridge @ 2700MHz (self made heatsink for this sole purpose)
2X2GB Dual Channel OCZ Platinum DDR2 1066 @ dualchannel 1080MHz 5-5-4-16 (stock dual channel at this freq not possible, but on overclock it is)
80gb hitachi hdd as primary and 500gb w.d. green as secondary
AMD HD4650 1GB DDR2 PCIe
500W frontech psu (yes i need a better psu)

and as mentioned its a dual channel DDR2 OCZ platinum Kit. 1066

its a reviewers sample. i got it shipped from the US.

and as mentioned my northbridge is at 2700MHz what does that mean? that means that in my AMD system, memory performance sky rockets.

Read ~ 9000MHps
Write ~ 9000MBps
Copy ~11000MBps

and since my timings are as low as 5-5-4-16 (i hope you even under stand what dat signifies :p) my latency is just 47ms

now if you try to buy 1066 dual channel DDR2 and especially this one. it would cost upwards of Rs 8K for just 4GB, now if you compare it to the cheap 9-9-9-24 DDR3 RAM that is so famous and abundant, i pity you :p

you see, timings has a really important role in the performance. why else do you think you get 2gb ripjaws 1600 DDR3 9-9-9-24 etc, at Rs 950 :D

Demand in the market. Good luck selling those DDR2 sticks after a year or so! You will find many takers alright.

just souring out some of the thing ;)

and i think i am on IGP and umesh_boogy is using old but a Graphic card :)
 
At last I can post mine (My old P4 PC had a base rating of 2):

Note that this rating is based on the integrated GPU & not the dedicated one. BTW, the graphics memory value is wrong.

yes, my PSU sucks.

and dont know if you are showing sarcasm in the RAM comment,
anyhoo, i didnt buy it, its a review sample as i said before. he shipped it for free as well.

A new BIOS update now lets me use Dedicated GPU by default. So, a bump in WEI.
