just an advice..

how about we include which phone model the person is using so that things become a little simpler for the person who is looking for apps for a particular phone.

I bought a xperia x10 yesterday and since it is 1.6 OS, i was looking in for top 10 apps for 1.6 .

so, adding the phone model makes things a little simpler.

just my 2 cents.

3) Tubemate( for YouTube vids)

4) Smart Keyboard

5) A1 Video player free

6) Maybe Dolphin HD for some javascript based pages;; Like my router's address ;)

Thats it, No games for me, But If I were to pick my fav it will be " The moron test"

Cubed spelled as ^3 . Just search for "cubed" in the market. If you are looking for visual flair, then It just beats the coverflow hollow...

There is Rock Player. Will play almost anything you can throw at it including divx, xvid, mp4, mkv, wmv etc. Free version is fine, it only has small R logo on the top left of the screen which is not too big or blocky and does not ruin the experience.

I would like to add two more must have programs to my list.

1. TuneIn

2. Winamp

TuneIn for internet radio. plenty of choice and some good channels. And Winamp for shoutcast streams. I dont use Winamp as audio player.

hey if the phones goes to standby, then the rockplayer goes back to folder directory. So everytime I will have to seek the video file to the position it was playing last. Is there any solid video player on android that saves the last played position on pause or one that saves like a bookmark?
