A free alternative to Shazam is Soundhound. It was paid app earlier but now free. Did detect certain songs correctly where Shazam failed. Can also detect songs if you hum into the speaker!

Yeah correct, just checked Android Market section.

There seems to be two entries, one is Soundhound (free) and another Soundhound ∞ (4.99$)

Not sure what is the difference between the free and paid versions :S

Btw if the songs are on your phone itself, they can be IDed by Mixzing in much the same way.

now,

2clicks = Next Song

3clicks = Previous Song

Continuously Pressed = Skipping Through the Song
