Looking forward to that, especially the cable impressions
Guess you've already tried the e-Q7. Can you describe how e-Q7 sounded? Did the Moving armature sound any 'different' to your ears than dynamics or BA?
Dude TBH i haven't really sat down to study how armatures work so that^ ain't gonna happen.
Just a heads-up for anyone who doesn't know me, if i say something like, for e.g. XXX hps/iems don't have bass, doesn't mean they really really don't have bass. It just means that I LOVE MY BASS!!!!

Not that i ever EQ to increase the bass, i just like it if its naturally there. Hence when i say the e-q7 were not my type, you know what i mean

They din't have any bass authority at all. I would prefer the Ck10 to the Eq-7 for the genre of music i listen to, but YMMV of course.
I'll try them again on wednesday esanthosh and let you know. Just to give them another chance cuz you seem like you've already read a lot of reviews of it(and I haven't read any TBH) and you seem sure you'll like them. If you want me to try a specific genre or track, do let me know, I'll download the Flac and keep.
Just to put it out there..i use Paul keeley or boom jinx or BT to check bass, spaciousness, soundstaging width, and treble extension. Alanis, Seal(unplugged), Nusrat Fateh for mids, vocals. Nirvana unplugged for soundstaging(width and depth) and imaging. Damien rice - 9 crimes for hiss, sibilance. Probably even some random, linkin park or kings of leon for speed and other factors like growl and lushness of the mids(depending on the song).
I'd really like to know.....this has got me curious.......What music do you guys use to test iems/ hps?
