hey hey now, its good to get excited, but dont hurry on a cable GO. Read on other things, explore other options.. till other members recieve their TF10s (many are recieving after 25Dec, remember!). There will be huge increase in the GO numbers by Jan 2011. Not even 30days more!

^ I am slowing down. I don't think TF10 mids can be as recessed as Pana HJE900. May be I'll burn my brain in and save on cables ;)
 
^ TF10 mids arent recessed IMO . Just not very forward. They dont seem to be neutral maybe cause of the extreme contrast formed by amazing bass and sparky treble. Infact , IMO TF10s are the only IEMs which can be termed as good as RE-0 in treble . Maybe that's the reason people find its mids to be recessed. Some even go to the extent of calling TF10s sound-sig v-curved !!
 
O I forgot to mention, the silver cable was out of stock. So was the eq5, sm3, they don't do fisher so no dba2, I saw the hm601 hifiman but cudnt audition cuz no music on it and it takes a sd mmc card, no re262 not arrived yet, no other rsa amps in stock.
Kranthi tried the jh5 at jaben.
I tried the um aero, Mage and miracle, again at stereo.
I know this might baffle a lotta people including me but according to me Aero(800sgd) > miracle(1100sgd) > Mage(900sgd).

Congratulation doc on the Westone3. They are amazing but they probably hate u right now for feeding it 128kbps mp3s. Like they say, Garbage in, Garbage out.

Sorry to say this but u've tried the tf10s with the Twilight cable and not the stock one. There is a slIght improvement throughout the spectrum as compared to the stock cable.
 
Oh no no....they do sound recessed with the stock cable, I don't deny that. I meant if u listen to other Iems in that tier like the audiotechnicas or the ortofon or shure, u will feel the mids are recessed.

If you compare the tf10(twilight cable or the Ue rainbow), you won't find them recessed.

Damn with the rainbow they sound really forward. I wud get the rainbow and spray paint it black just for variety ;)

so now i want lune > rainbow >twilight >es8 (they are available at good price :P ) ...faheem contact me when you have a go ...i have many interested on this side :)
 
the point is 100 SG$ = 77 US$$ ...at us$90 i feel safer with lune as its so much more widely acclaimed ( and its silver :P )

the twe light if you can bring it to 30-35 ..that will be great !

here are my requirements ( me and my mates :

1. 2 lune cables if you get the lune cables.

2. 2 rainbow if you get the rainbow ones.

3. 4 Twilight if you get the twilight one.

4. 5 es8 if you get the es8 ones .

( all at at a reasonable price :) )

NOTE : it all dependent on the price of the cable :)

no customs .. i cant sell,,,so i have to keep that till i die...so no customs..

next should be monster turbines miles davis tribute or sm3 or eq5 or eq7
