I was extremely disappointed by the Uni.....
Build quality fit for a Royal Enfield(exaggerated of course

), but still..... a bike not worthy of the Honda name.
all mags who have tested the Uni over a long time complain of fit and finish problems. They say that after a time, engine oil can be seen ON the externals of the engine. And the fairings start rattling. And apart from that monoshock, there is nothing extra special abt the Uni.
That reflects in it's sales...... it is selling well, but it is not the phenomenon people expected when honda announced that they are building a 150cc bike for India.
I know many people who put off their bike purchases when they heard HONDA are releasing a new bike. But they then went for a P150 once they saw the Uni.
And till yesterday, I would have said that the Uni wins over the Pulsar in it's gear shift quality. Not anymore

I drove a friend's 150DTSi(the new one with Alloys and Exhaustec and Nitrogen filled shocks) and I was SHOCKED at the shift quality.
It was BRILLIANT!!! As good is not better than the Uni. I felt it was better probably coz the engine had the revs and grunt to make the shifts more exciting

...
I have been riding my 180DTSi for a loooong time. But mine is the old one without Gas shocks and Alloys.... But the shioft quality on the new DTSi was Awesome!!! It was soooo slick..... I still cant get over it.
This Pulsar was released after the Discover. And I guess Bajaj tried some new things on the Disco and then they pushed it int othe Pulsar with a few modifications.... But boy.... the shift quality is Awesome!!!
