Nikhil ji-
I am least learned in this field- else why would i meet with an accident on an empty strech of road, at 40kmph!!
And once you had claimed that the P180 is very good in handling and people fell coz they tried to exceed their own limit!!
Being used to one make, its not easy, rather impossible to shift to another and achieve the same insantly!!
I am sure you wouldn't have competitively tackled roundabouts the day you started riding!!
No wonder you had a tough time adjusting to a lighter m/c, viz, your neighbour's RXZ!!
Also a regular street going m/c though seemingly fine in all respects may not have the right suspension quality, tyres, etc to handle imaculately for anyone to generalise on the make!!
Even new Bikes from the same lot vary quite a bit!!
FYI, the first thing i had to do on my 4 days old RX 135 is an oil change+stiffening in the front forks and stiffening the rear!!
How i discovered that is one long story in itself- but i did manage to break my front number plate and that was it!!
The entire lot of Aug98 RX 135s had low oil in the front forks but the showroom people were not keen to help!!
Only one of the main dealers admitted to that and helped all customers!!:hap2:
And it requires much more Throttle control to handle a bike with more thrust/acceleration in every gear!!:cool2:
The RXs were the most forgiving and sought after by learners in the entire world, yes, the entire world!!

hyeah:
Especially coz they lean so well, w/o any effort on the rider's part!!
So i hope that answers abt the 'RX do not lean' myth that you have!!
And even a pro RX racer will crash a shogun on his first ride on the track!!
The shogun is only as good as the rider!!:cool2:
The Yams lean themselves, the shogun has to be forced into submission!!
And stock bikes- basically all are commuters in India- are designed to give an even spread of power/torque to tackle the various situations one may encounter!!
A highly tuned bike is made to run in its much narrower powerband and its the rider's skill to keep it there at all times!!
I sincerely hope you meet one of the TVS factory bikes at 110kmph odd and you will understand what i mean by THRUST!!
Those things take of like mad in their top gear, making it look like an RX overtaking some moped in the first gear!!:cool2:
And why am i even speaking about mileage- most pals who tried to use my bike after my crash, returned it in days!!
Coz they said it was a car on two wheels!!
25+ kmpl!!
And i was used to doing daily use + intercity on that!!
Didn't know that cars, public transport existed!!:cool2:
And these same people dream of owning a Ninja, R1 or the Busa!!
Yeah, but my expenditure on my babies meant less partying!
Coz i would spend more time at the garage!!
And even went to parties in the same greasy jeans!!:ashamed:
And it sure helped not to have any of my pal's extra 'shauk', viz. booze, smokes, GFs!!:ashamed:
And me had enough spares- all purchased new, no 2nd hand stuff- to build myself a 'b**ch' bike, if such a term exists!!:cool2:
And it was all from parttime job at the garage, savings from pocket money and Bday money- not borrowed from parents- i used to survive college in just 4 pairs of jeans!!
Stll have some of that for maintaining existing bikes!!
And a rider is only as good as the 'kms' on his 'ODO'!!:cool2: :cool2:
