i guess u are having exacct right information but why dont u do a favour why dont u start programming from scratch

i meant Learn java then go for j2me then u can get into mobile gaming.
after that learn direct x10 programming and try to learn unreal engine programing

there are now days lots of institute in hyd and mumbai which teaches game programing as they are accredited from US univeristy.

Rest i suggest u try to learn first from scratch then u can go for higher courses till that time u can get insitute in india
as such there is institute name "CAE" which teaches game programing u can get information from it in website...

cheers

dude i already have 3yrs of hardcore programming experience :ohyeah: :ohyeah: :ohyeah: in php and .net that is. and i had developed a ping-pong game in vb6 way back in my college days :rofl: :rofl: and i m trying to develop a tank racing game in .net but after a few days of hard work, my enthusiasm goes down.:@ i m just looking for someone who can guide me in a structural way.

Well.. this thing is going out of hand.. people here are speaking lie over lie and may be fooling others just because they may not be knowing them.... so i think it would be fair enough for the guy who is lying to come out saying the truth and the guy i am talking about should come out by himself to attain his dignity :)

P.S. Do post it mate.. you know who i am talking to otherwise i may have to post :P

@Painkiller

Long ago i wanted to endaveour ur Journey :P...neway information i collected :
1.There is no degree course in India for game prog (anyway they are considered crap in the industry)
2.Search for Abertay and Dundee Univ in Scotland..it offers a Msc in Game Tech which is quite upto its mark.
3.All india can do is Game Design/VFX etc etc ...game programming is nothin special ..all they need is good programmers (who in return would like to have a software programmer profile rather than being associated with the game industry which although has great scope outside india)
4.All u can do is get over with ur like minded friends and form a Modding Team
5.Somehow Testing has started to gain momentum here in India lets c whats next ..hope for the best.
