I would like to upgrade my 17"CRT to DELL LCD(19" or 20").

Budget:12.5K
Main Purpose: Gaming & Watching Movies

In between DELL Ultrasharp1908WFP and SP 2008WFP which one is the best and suitable option for my Rig and Budget?
(Pl Don't rec. 22", because I can't increase the budget)

I seriously doubt if u can source the SP2008WFP for <12.5k..

Dell quotes a price of 12,700/- w/o VAT and shipping charges.

The E207WFP is quoted a price of 11.5k.. That may fall under a budget of 12.5k in case u speak to the Dell rep in the right manner.

The SP2008WFP has a better contrast ratio and a USB hub, hence the price seems justified.

It has a glossy screen like its 22incher counterpart SP2208WFP.

Glossy screens generally're found in panels with higher contrast ratio AFAIK but then it reflects a lot of light falling on it.

DELL SP2008WFP and LG L226WTQ are fall in my budget(increase my budget to 13K).

In between these 2 LCDs which one is better for my Rig?(i.e.8600GT)

Both have a max. res of 1680x1050, so take ur pick accordingly;

If u need those 2inches of extra real estate, go for the 22"er else get the DELL.

When i got my first PC in 2005(P4 3Ghz System)the TE people are give their valuable suggestions (particularly saiyan) to build that PC.That time i know nothing about PC Hardware.

The TE is very useful to improve my knowledge about PC.

Three months back I upgraded my PC again with the help from people like Gannu.I got my MOBO,Proc,GPU,RAM from Rahul and moded my caby by KMD.Now I will going to upgrade my 17" CRT and 400w PSU.

Once again thanks a lot to all the TE people.
