The problem is that even if the reviews might be good that does not necessarily mean one will get a quality product and good after sales service. Secondly expect reviews to be bit over the top owing to the price and at many places if there will be shortcomings then the reason would be given as price.
 
the company is crap , making fake promises on Facebook page .. people have deposited money in their account and they are making them wait since 2 months .. no sign of deliveries yet .
 
@roadrippersid , I think they have given that review unit , which is a prototype i suppose to that gogi guy...i saw a review video of UMI X2 few days back on YouTube.

Chill, nobody from here has bought it (right? :D )

The original model is being updated to 1.5 GHz. Someone commented that the 1.2 GHz model has troubles with 2 GB RAM and hence we haven't seen any 2 GB RAM Chinese phone with the Mediatek SOC yet (which is true, 1 GB RAM models everywhere!). Besides, all original phones will be sold with the faster processor, price still the same and delivery 15th May. Let's wait this week and check it out then!
 
and most of the indian noobs have even deposited full amount Rs 14000 when they just asked them to deposit 500 .. as if they will deliver to them earlier than others ..

If you want to order throw your 14500 Rs on below link and wait indefinitely to get the chinese crap in your hands.

I would really hope you do this as i love to see people putting entire money on a new brand without applying a little commonsense and that too on a pre order from a new website.
 
5-8 more days as UMI said. We'll find out if these 2 months was a massive fraud or a genuine mess up.

They hiked prices by Rs. 2,000 !!
 
they seem to have tied up with some service center chain .. on their site there is a list of service centers which will support umi from next month .. for my city its the same service center which handles ASS for Micromax, lemon and few other brands ..
