Unable to browse select sites

from today, i have a weird problem.... seems like i cant access twitter. and few other sites are also not accessible... it gives a "Error 109 (net::ERR_ADDRESS_UNREACHABLE): Unable to reach the server."

i tried in chrome and ff, but same result. however i can access those sites through opera, which i think possibly due to the proxy.

so what could be the cause and solution.... being a techie myself, did some troubleshooting and let me tell what i have done

1. cleared those sites cookies from the browser settings
2. changed my dns to google dns
3. did ipconfig/flushdns, release and renew
4. included chrome in allowed list in windows firewall
5. disabled windows firewall
6. paused protection of my antivirus


what else could be the problem... or its just a temp. issue

which is your isp? maybe they have blocked these sites in their proxy server.
In the meantime, update your chrome and firefox to latest versions.
