QC, get the console and begin Uncharted 1 and 2. Trust me, these 2 games shall always be cherished and remembered! I do since Uncharted was the first tile I played on the spanky new console I got back then. It came bundled with the console.
I know of folks here who disregard God of War 3, Heavy Rain, MGS 4 and other good PS3 exclusives because either they got too bored with the title or it was hard but I haven't come across a single instance when Uncharted has been disliked!

This is a personel interest warning:
Anybody playing uc1/uc2 kindly flip through the old pages and look who all have played the game and take it via pm with those members. Gannu hasnt got any leaves left for this year and we dont want him to be flayed in the office for 'LWN'-ing (leave without notification) about.
As it is, our support/strength will be with him once UC3 is released later this year.
Pls dont make him flutter again.. for the time being at the least.

Sad but true. Heck I am at my workplace as I type this. :'(
Was forced to work on this 3-day holiday weekend.
I am thinking of alternatives for playing UC 3. Like picking up Sheru's console, playing it with the legit disc and giving him the console back. But Sheru wouldn't part with the console until he's done with UC 3 and I am dead sure he's picking up the game the moment it hits the shelves.

The game is still a couple of months away, so plenty of time left. Besides, it's not going to kill you, if you don't play it on the release day itself.
To be brutally honest, I'm more excited about Arkham City than this title. Not to mention being swamped by shit load of other titles in November.

No but the excitement on playing it that way is something different and needs to be experienced. I think I'd done that on 2 occasions - Uncharted 2 and GOW 3. But Uncharted 2 reached me a bit late due to the Diwali holidays and couriers not working on those days.
Excited about Arkham City - definitely. What of Uncharted 3? Hell yeah!hyeah:

Trust me, if people can play UC2 even at this point and find it amazing, then there is no way in hell, that UC3 won't do the same thing. The best thing to do is probably stay away from discussion boards and things which reveal way too much about the game, once it has released. If you can play it on day 1, nothing like it, if not, it won't be a huge loss. You'll always have something better to play around with.
Personally, Arkham City looks way more promising to me. After all the things which have been revealed and the amount of characters being included, this is definitely on the top of my priority list.

The Explorer's Edition of Uncharted 3 brandishes a wooden travel case that's produced to "a premium quality" in an antique style.
The case has space for 19 PS3 games. They're not included.
I know i am good at needling people like this when people just cannot wait to get their hands on the game
