do you have multiple drivers installed?
how exactly we can find this

from what I checked in "Programs and features" the date says that all Nvidia stuff is installed/updated yesterday itself.

and yesterday I just installed one latest driver downloaded from Nvidia site..

@OP - Even i have the same motherboard buddy. Though i have a 9600gt i can assure you that the onboard 8300 is a very good IGP which can play 1080p and 720p without a hitch. Why i am this much confident is because my laptop which has a 8200m runs 720p and even 1080p videos flawlessly. Then I wonder why it stutters in your pc. Are you using XP or WIN7 ?. Did you check your system for viruses ?. Or your pc never plays them from the very beggining ?.

This motherboard is an excellent one . I love it. Very stable too. Once i bought the asus m3A-78-em which i think isnt compatible with my transcend memory and it was damn slow. File transfer took ages. So returned it immediately and bought this motherboard with much anticipation that it would cause issues because many websites gave negative rating for this mobo. But thank God a new FW was released at the time when i got it and from that time it is serving me well (touchwood)

So IMO either your monitor has some issues or some O/s related issue i guess..

Thanxx for the explanation buddy..

I am using Win 7 64bit

Well I have updated all drivers of mobo and GPU but nothing changed.

However, I recently noted strange thing

I ran same 1080p HD videos in Windows media player.. and they ran as smooth as butter...

No issue.. no hiccup.. no forward/reverse break..

It just worked ask I was willing..

However, it still not playing Okk with vlc and MPC :(

Mates, plz also suggest a good PSU..

Look at the data rate of the video from your digicam!
The reason you're experiencing hiccups isn't cos your IGP or processor is slow, it's cos your HDD isn't fast enough.

Also you've got to enable DXVA in MPC. Check off all the DXVA support options in the internal filters options.

Datarate of videos from cam is 45667kbps

HDD is Seagate Braccuda (whatever spelling) 7200.12 500GB Sata HDD

BTW, just played with some settings of MPC, and now it is playing them smoothly..

Thanxx for the help..:) Postponing GPU till new monitor homes..

Yeah either get the Corsair CX 400 W ~ 2.7K or if it out of your budget get the Gigabyte Superb 460W ~ 2K or FSP Saga II 350W ~ 1.8K, hope this helps :)

Getting the Cooler Master Real Power Pro second hand for how much and what about the bill and warranty + check for the box

+ please avoid the eXtreme power series from Cooler Master, they can be supplanted by the FSP Saga II series or Gigabyte Superb 460 or at max the Corsair CX 400 for maximum efficiency :)

you can buy a cheap HD 4650 1GB.
just make sure your PC has more than or equal to twice the memory as your graphics card.
i have this card and i use 1024*786 resolution.... does gaming nicely at 2x-4x anti anitialising and 2x anisotropic.
