i got a good deal for a cellphone on ebay US but don't have a credit card to pay for it, so if any fellow TE member can help me out it would be a great help & im willing to pay extra for your help.

Umm the seller has only 5 feedback and that too only as a buyer. Also, this is going to end up costing you approx 20k landed price...For a used phone what is so great about that deal?
 
with aramex shop & ship landing price would approximately be 16-17k including taxes & the photos seem good enough to trust the seller, also had a chat with him seems to be genuine.

17k how?

$230 ~15k after currency charges
$10 shipping ~ 700 bucks
Customs - wont be at 7% of your invoice. It will be for 7% of the cost it is available at india i.e. around 3-4k
 
Take my point, don't buy it, Importing used phones is not allowed in India,

If by chance the customs open up your package to crosscheck the item, the item will be detained, and in some case penalty would be levied on you

Where do you get your facts?

Importing used phone is not prohibited in India, you just have to import fee that's all..

Import it, declare it as used, let it enter the custom house, then let me know the results :D

if you don't agree with me, ask other members including @prateekS , he is regular importer of phones from US
 
still waiting for a helping hand, to make it even clearer will deposit the cash in your account before you transfer PayPal cash.
 
You can easily get a used 4s 32GB for 20k here itself. Friends have bought many pieces in pristine condition.
Olx should help you and do note that 80% of listings on Olx are From mobile dealers..
 
Got a used 4S 16GB for 18K couple of months back from a mobile dealer.
Also in above listing, I am not sure whether the phone comes with charger, cable etc because the seller has not mentioned anything like that.
 
I can pay. But on every 1000 bucks I will charge u 300 Rs if interested. So whatever the amount be of 230 bucks so as per the current rate of today u will have to pay 4500 Rs extra in advance. I would suggest you to pay Rs 5000 in total if u agree.
