Car & Bike Urgent: New Front and Rear Speakers for ZEN (old)

Hi all

Need suggestions for buying speakers for my car.
I have a SONY EXPLOD stereo cd player installed written some 52W X 4 on it.

I have shortlisted JBL GTO948 400W for rear sound.

I'll not be using any woofer or amplifier.

Please suggest which combination to go for, to have good front and rear combination of sound,

budget max 5K.
Preferred brand = JBL.

And is it like I have to go for some combination of Wattage for front and rear speakers ?
Can I use 6" front speakers ?

It's urgent - have to buy today evening .... :)

Got Rear speakers....JBL GTO948 @3800/- wid bill.

Need suggestions for Front ones....Do front speakers really make any difference in Zen (It is a small car...are rear one's sufficient ot fronts do make significant improvement ?)

6 incher can be accommodate cutting the door by good technician.:P

4 inch front speaker:- JBL GTO 407 / POLK 401 / BLAUPUNKT THX/GTX series would be best fit for you.

Rear GTO 948 - good choice!
 
6.5"ers!

no need for cutting shutting. just remove the old grille and use spacers. You will need to play around to find the perfect position - too high and it will block the window winder, and too low will not let you close the door
 
sorry for being late

but i'll be buying front speakers tomorrow 1st thing morning

already have GTO948 in REAR.....

Which 1 to go for front speakers... preffered brand JBL :)

Which size to get for OLD ZEN ?
