Want to patch my SE w800i, safest and easiest way ?

I have a 2 year old Sony Ericsson w800i with R1BC002 firmware. I want to patch my phone to get the maximum out of it. Please let me know which is the safest and easiest way to do so.
It would be great if someone could tell me what more features (if any) will i get after patching my phone.
Also suggest me a way out just in case i mess up things and want to restore my phone back to normal. I will ensure that i have backed up all the data / contacts etc before performing any sort of patch work.

PS: I am a total noob in cell phone patching. :ashamed:

send the phone to me I'll patch the phone u can change the menu layout increase the sound of ur phone and install customized camera drivers.

Have the latest tools for patching the phone

I recently had to unlock a w850i, and not having a clue about Sony had to do some intensive research and found a number of good resources to check out. Both are good:

for Sony Ericsson phones. There are a number of excellent programs for unlocking customizing like SeTool and XS++.
