what is the procedure for moving the consumer protection court in pune?

I have evidence of tata indicom's bad metering.

initially a tech guy accepted the evidence (an excel sheet containing anomalous usage details, sent from their own customer support email) and said he would get with the billing deparment for a adjustment.

Now after saying they would pass adjustment they cancelled it, and now they are saying that the head auditor of billiing would get in touch with me and tell me the reason for cancellation of adjustment.

I am totally frustrated with tata indicom. :@

Even though the speeds are ok (nowadays only 160 kbits / second) and there is no downtime, their billing is killing..........

Well, where shall I begin....

(1). Moved from BSNL to TATA 256k UL 2 months back.
(2). Worked well for 2 weeks, had 3 days downtime(overhead wires got cut)
(3). Worked for 1 week. Again got cut. Took 7 days to fix.
(4). Since no drop box very closeby, placed request to send collection agent. (5). He didn't turn up even after 8 days, deadline passed by, they suspended my account and fined me(This happened during the 7 day downtime)
(6). Again this month, placed another request to collect money. Been 10 days, still no agent. Today is lasy day for fee payment, and im pretty sure they will suspend it tonight.

Been placing complaints everyday, they do nothing to help me, also never allow me to escalate the issue and talk to a senior person.

Im tired of complaining and argueing with these neanderthals.
I work in the IT industry and have a good idea about how call centers work. You work within strict SLAs(Service Level Agreements). No complaint would stay open for like 2 weeks. I am gonna disconnect the account end of this month, and move back to BSNL(or Airtel if they provide service in my area).

I really wish I could get hold of the people who audit these fools.....

Thanks man. This thread really helped me.

I was going to suggest TATA to my relative-sister. But, not now anymore.

are my posts invisible?

plz help.

@bios bhai
If you on a post paid connection then u can see the usage details by logging in to their website using your id provided.
The case in consumer court wouldnt hold ,until many people support or sign the petition.

Try calling the CC billing department and ask them the status of your complaint.Better still go their main office n create a ruckus.

See the results then.:P .I didnt have connection for abt 15 days .Did the same
thing and had no probs with connection till now.::touch wood :: .

tata srsly sux...i applied for a connection...i called them everyday for a month...then they came..told me that my application was under a pile of junk
