it worked on a huawei mt882 of a friend of mine (who sent me the pic
) and had the same problem. I also had the same problem, and it stopped when the modem was replaced with one of another make after a lightning strike. this is also possibly a design flaw, since most countries dont experience voltage spikes and drops like ours
