How important was the six that Rohit Sharma hit in the last over??(Which hafeez spilled over the boundary, to take India from 145 to 151).Priceless :D.

I am a hardcore critic of Indian cricket (And cricket in general), but yesterday's final was heart-stopping. Suicidal tendencies of both the teams on brilliant display!!:rofl:.

Well done India!, now flood our TVs with more and more commercials! :rofl:.
 
Suspense at the last over was MIND Blowing man, I mean we could were able to recover the match out of MISBAH when he was looking Dangerous!!
 
Mizbah Ul Haq is an incredible, incredible batsman. Btw, how many of you guys in blore were around Hotel Empire/Paramount yesterday? One heck of a scene, hundreds of guys had gathered and they stirred lots of shit up.

Shit stopped when the drunk morons got lathi charged. But it was fun while it lasted.
 
both the team went as underdogs .. and both came out triumphant ..
and no other tournament took place where india won to take the top honours offlate..

the 83 team had good and established players..

this team didnt had the Big threes playing for them ..
from the bowling dept too the main spearhead was missing..
Harbhajan, Irfan And Sehwag were making their comeback.. there were new faces in the team like Rohit Sharma and Yousuf Pathan .. and inexperienced like Joginder Sharma, who again was making a comeback .. and no one was playing the role of a genuine allrounder..

Most importantly .. No Specialist Coach..

India had not played a single tournament of T20 and all the other teams of similar stature had been practising in this format ...
not even in the domestic level ..

All in all the whole team was dicey nearly in all the departments .. and yet we won .. thats y i think this team is better than the 83 team ... though taking nothing away from Kapil's Devils.. they achieved something which was never done before in the history of Indian Cricket..

Well to the first thing, i would say that they are the big three of course, but they are the big three (or at least two ) roadblocks to winning......they usually play for milestones and that cost us the bangladesh game in WC 07....the ganguly-sachin sedate start.......

to the second part, well we might not have had a specialist coach, but i can't see how having one might hurt.....as long as both the coach and players have such imposing personalities that they clash all the time (which was apparently the case with chappell....)

Anyways, the ODI's against aus will be a better test for the team and the captain, the sad part though is that the "Trio" is back to drag along with the rest.....:mad: :mad:

I agree with u man ..why we are equating with 1983...well i dont think india won the final..actually pakistan lost the final..:bleh: :bleh: just look at performence of our great bowlers Baziiiiiiiii 3 six in a row which turned the whole match back to pakistan..Also never forget the joginder sharma what a great bowler he is:bleh: :bleh: i think our local fast bowler can bowl faster and better then joginder sharma.....Over all the performence of india in final was not good.....Let see what will happen in next with such great(Horrible) player spl..Harbazan singh ,Joginder sharma..:bleh: :bleh:
 
Dont mean to defend Jogi, but he is not a bowler in the true sense. He chips in as the fifth bowler. He is a "bits and pieces" allrounder.
 
i saw the bus at worli. simply amazing the number of people that were out on the roads. some of them have been walking from the airport going till wankhede.
 
Amazing match , absolutely amazing, breadthtaking, hazaar thanks to the Team for having the T20 World Cup. Guys here should post pics of celebrations, hehe.
