I was interested in looking at the postings on web forums on September 11th, 2001. I tried looking for old forums, but found none with posts from that date yet.....maybe they delete posts after a certain period to free up their servers.

What I did find, was a few sites that have been archiving several web pages for some time now. I found these archives very interesting and thought that they would be worth sharing here.

if you are perticularly talking about forums. then there is a inbuilt option for archives. i mean the no of days you wanna save the data or forever. genrally ppl keep it to 90 days if not replied, so that they can save some server space.

In my view only big companies archive the forums.
