I have a whole bunch of apps that I have bought when they were free / heavily discounted, here are some notable ones.
  • Nova Launcher Prime
  • KLWP Unlocker
  • Poweramp Unlocker
  • FL Studio Mobile
  • Castlevania: Symphony of the Night
  • OK Golf
  • Dead Cells
  • Leo's Fortune
  • GRID Autosport
  • Incredibox
  • Implosion Full Version
  • Deemo Full Version
  • Monument Valley 2
  • SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom
As for my game and software library, I have made a lot of purchases, often for free, and I would not like to put it out in a list here.

I see most posts are from android users and given the percentage segregation between iOS and Android, this is understandable. But would love to hear from iOS folks too on which apps they found worth paying for.
My list is still unchanged. Same as what is mentioned in first post. But I am always on lookout for some sort of calendar / recurring reminders apps that can help me as I am super heavily dependent on my personal calendar, be it paying bills, backing up my phone, cancelling amazon S&S and what not.

I have 0 paid apps now, I switched to mostly FOSS software

Nova Launcher prime ( now using stock lineageOS launcher )
Greenify ( no longer that useful )
Poweramp ( no longer have local music on phone )
Solid Explorer ( no longer use it )
Boost for Reddit ( switched to Infinty )
also purchased a few substratum themes which are now useless :tearsofjoy:

I just sensed a root user around... those super golden days of substratum. Its still alive with tons of developments but compatibility is an issue now with most phones..

yep, truly was a golden time, it died pretty much around android 11 release, especially since dark mode ships by default and most apps support dark mode nowadays, not much use of it.

Nova Launcher
PowerAmp
Solid Explorer
KWGT

Games:
Plague Inc
Hitman Go
Hitman Sniper
Deus Ex Go
Ticket to Earth

Aqua mail
solid explorer: don't use it as I use es

The only app I ever bought - I spent Rs. 15 on Fluid Simulation on a playstore sale, it is a super trippy app - the number of customizations it lets you do are mind-boggling

Best 15 bucks i ever spent

Can PowerAmp equalize system wide audio like music played on Spotify or Apple Music or Youtube? Is it worth purchasing?

Recently purchased "Apollo" app for reddit. I use it extensively and wanted ability to block subreddits from /r/all. I know on reddit website we can do but only 100 or so. Here it is unlimited. But then there is no cloud sync or so which means, if I uninstall apollo, all those settings are gone.

I've heard about it. Just saw PowerAmp on every FM's purchase list so was curious.
I purchased it probably in the first year of owning an Android phone back in 2011 when it cost the equivalent of a dollar. There really weren't any options then for a 10-band equalizer.

Are there any paid Android apps that are worth purchasing?
Lots. Depends on what you want to do with them though. Sesame shortcuts, tasker, join, folder sync, Yatse, and solid explorer are apps I bought and use often/can't live without.
