Now finally i am back in the game thanks to ATi so what are the new games that are there to be enjoyed...

I have already done away with:

COD4

Crysis

Bioshock

Looking forward to play:

Assassin's Creed

GRID

Devil May Cry (Maybe)

Though all the three games need a game pad controller to be thoroughly enjoyed...

What all other games should i look out for... I don't think i would be able to play DMC as it is another Point and shoot/slash game... Anything interesting which i am missing...
 
TF2 Switch, trust me I was addicted to COD4, but after playing TF2, I dont think there is anything better out there in terms of multiplayer gaming, and sheer top drawer game play!

GRID, CS, Fifa'08

How did you find Crysis? did you enjoy it?
 
1.the witcher ( d best rpg game i've ever played ..i finished it already and i'm on my second play through)

finished cod4,crysis,vegas 2,assassin's creed.
lookin forward to play grid,mass effect( is it really worth it? i played d 360 version and i felt it was okay)

Okey coming back to games... I think i will try Mass Effect as well as World in Conflict... The last RPG/Strategy game i played was Homeworld and really loved it...

Coming to Gears of War... Well to be honest i dont like the game at all... It could be just me but i would prefer UT over that... Duck/Hide >Shoot >Reload >Duck/Hide and over and over is not my game... I prefer CSS over it...

Crysis was fun on a X1900XT with 1280 res but i don't think i would be touching crysis again...

Alone in the dark is one game in my list already. Thanks for reminding me that ICE. Saw the xbox user rating and found that people have mixed reaction for the game so not expecting a lot out of it.

Will try witcher too as i see quite a few people suggesting it.

How is rainbow series. I remember playing an old rainbow six game where in the first level you go in a museum and rescue some hostages. And then there was a plane mission for the same.

Also how is stalker. I tried the game for 30 mins and then got bored of it.
 
Haha nice thread. I play Crysis and Fcry on lowest settings on my Gecube HD3450 and the games are very playable.
 
Mass effect and GRID at the moment. But I am planning to reinstall some old games again. Specially feeling like playing MAFIA again with 8X adaptive AA and 16X AF.

-G.R.I.D Ultra settings 1440x900 4xAA 8xAF smoodh butter play! 40-50FPS

-Crysis Ultra settings 1440x900 4xAA 8xAF smoodh butter play! 30-40FPS

-All the NFS at ultra-max settings

-Assassins creed max settings @ 1440x900 smoodh butterly play
 
unreal tournament 3 !!!

youll never ever get bored of playing it especially since it looks super cool and runs super smooth (80 fps min on 1280x1024 everything max full aa on my 9800gtx with 31 bots on any map)

if you cant buy it in india order it online. its really worth it.

Dude i strongly urge u to try Stalker again.Even i got bored pretty soon the first time i tried it.But i tried it again and if u follow the story and be a little patient during the initial stages,the game has a lot to offer as i found out later and i must say its one of the best games ive played on a PC apart frm Mafia,Splinter Cell series,Far Cry,Half Life 2,Oblivion,Dirt,CoD4,Moh Airborne.

If u have a good sound system,u will definitely enjoy the awesome sound design in Stalker.Trust me Switch,try it again and thank me later!:hap2:

If you mean Rainbow Six Vegas series, then yes they are good.Compared to the earlier bunch of Rainbow Six games these ones are miles better.Not only in terms of graphics but easy tactical command gameplay & decent storyline.The missions are pretty intensive too.Give it a shot you'll enjoy it.But it again acquires a few elements of cover-fire tactic which was present in Gears of War.

Same here but then again that's just me hating the RPG element of it.:bleh:
 
Glad I bought a good GPU. hopefully can play GRID highest settings @ 1024x678 :D
