What to buy at New Zealand/Bangkok?

My Sister is going to New Zealand and Bangkok for Official work. So, I just am wondering if any gadget is cheap over there. (New Zealand/Bangkok)
I am more interested in Tablet like Apple I pad 3 or Samsung galaxy Tab P680 or Any other cheap gadget.(if its cheaper than India)

So, Suggest any cheap Gadget (LCD TV, Laptop, Tablet)

Go for a street shopping in bangkok ... "Hometown" from futuregroup is full of bangkok items and retails at 300%-400% premium ...

Head to Pantip Plaza at BKK. Consumer electronics, computer hardware, laptops, tablets, cellphones etc. can be had for cheap in this entire mall.
