Rest of the conditions being favorable. HDDs have moving parts, mechanical failure happens earlier than wear out is what I mean.Reliable, yes. But HDDs can have almost unlimited write endurance as long as the rest of the conditions are favourable.
TBW for SSDs is a key metric that is documented clearly in the specifications.
