Which city are u located?

Police is always gonna help. Trust me approach the police and lodge an FIR. If police dont take action, send it to Times of India or Mid-day. They will put it in newspaper and push the cops to take action.

This will teach that a@#ho$^ a lesson.
 
To get Address:

1. Note down all the numbers.

2. Skip to Step 6 if you ready to bluff..

3. Find out the Operator of that number.

4. Reach CC/Gallery of the Provider.

5. Ask for details from manager. If FIR is important the go with it, better to get one FIR for a list of numbers than getting one for each.

6. Approach these users and issue a notice that an FIR has been lodged for the User and address associated with the concerned number(mention that yoyou have received the details from the Operator because of FIR). Either provide details of the actual snub or be ready to give it to the police directly.

7. Either way you will get the details of the snub.

To figure out whether the person is someone who your sister knows, ask some other female to answer the phone. If the snub doesnt respond then probably he is very well familiar with your sister's voice.

Changing your phone number is not a solution. It is just a fix to the symptoms.. Fix the root of the cause for once and the problem will not occur again. Troubleshooting 101 :P
 
If i post the buggers number here whoever he is am sure he is f@#$%^& :P.I am from village in tamil nadu....am pretty sure he is either from ma village or from the near by town.The only thing stopping me from posting his number is i may hurt some innocent guy....he may be using someone elses phone to make the harassing calls(which i suspect)....I dont want some poor guy to go through the same trouble like me :).

Yep thats the last option right now...he harassed me from 2 numbers....if he keeps pushing me like this i have no option but to take the police route....i hate running around to fix this nuisance but if it comes to that i will do like what u said.And i am pretty sure my sis doesnt know this guy....he may be someone known to her friends or something .
 
^Which village in TN ? Approach the police after Diwali and see if they can help you out. Don't forget to take some home made sweets ;)
 
Op, why u just mentioned 9843422XXX and why not full no.? If you did that then by now he might have opted for another sim as being terrifically harassed by TEians. :hap2:

If your sisters cell is a nokia and symbian s60 series, i can help you the safest way without going to police or porn ;)

BTW i have some cops cell nos. who reside in my area, i will sms that brat claiming that the cops nos. are for Free call girls dirty chats at regular rates etc. Then just hope he calls either of them even once and he is done with his cell party :cool2: And he will definitely give a shot at this coz such despos are meant to sneak peak in every girls *** :bleh:

^ why dont you call the number and see who talks or not? i'm sure you're familiar with his voice by now. if he picks up and does not talk or disconnects when you say hello, surely its his phone, else it might be someone elses. ;)

edit: otoh, just give him missed calls every hour or at 3 and 4 am in the morning. should kill his sleep if nothing else. :rofl:
 
call from another phone (prefferably ask your friend to call, as he already knows your voice, a female friend would be better) , say it is from a lottery / lucky dip / test drive / radio station and that he has won something small like a phone (nothing big) , and needs the details to deliver the product / prize ..what nots .. (what is the usual thing that goes in your area?) , may be tickets to a popular movie as a compliments from the service provider.

atleast you will know if this is person that is known to you, without him knowing that you have traced back to him.
 
^^wow thats a nice idea mate.....fortunately for me after i put his latest number on the reject list he hasnt bothered to harass me for the last few days :P.

Yeah but at least the guy talked convincingly :P nice idea too to call him in the early morning lol.
 
Well, nice to know that the harassment is on pause. If it starts again, I have a very simple solution (from my own experience). Just pick up the call and don't say a word, just pick up. You can put the phone near a speaker if you would like. The calls might go on for a few days but it will definitely stop. No one likes to waste their money you see. Also, you can give the number to BPO consultancies saying that your friend needs a job (don't call from your number as they will save your number too then). They will make his life hell!
 
Ok this episode came to an end today ...they threatened my sister on the street today and she immediately called me and i went to the spot and managed to track the house of one of the thugs and my dad lost control and assaulted the guy but i managed to refrain him and he told the location of the other thug also ....he got the same treatment but with a slight twist his own family beat the guy to a pulp in front of us .

Just an hour before all this happened he called my dad and said he is the lover of my sister used some vulgur language also

Yeah there have been way too many cases of people losing their lives or getting scarred for life so be careful while handling such situations.
