Got myself a different strap on my galaxy watch 4, now it's perfect. I hate that rubbery looking thing which it came with. Meanwhile my fossil gen5 came with amazing quality leatherish strap.

but i think these get slightly more sweaty than the stock ones. But they do have a rubber finish beneath.

There is/ was a special HMT project 'Varchas' organized by a Redditor. Old folks from TE might remember how @gmano organized the legendary HMT Pilot White Dial/ Blue Hands group order on TE (leading to a lot of pissed-off people on the WatchUSeek forums, IIRC ). I don't think this project would reach those epic heights, but it seemed interesting, and I haven't bought a new watch in ages, so I signed up for it and paid for the watch yesterday.

There are 2 models (I took only 1). According to the organizer, shipping and delivery is expected in the next 2 weeks.

Note: All images are not mine, posting the sample images provided by the person responsible for the project.

PS. I still have 2 of the HMT Pilots from the Group Order. I think I paid around 1500 each for them. They're going for 20-30k now as per a quick Google search.

Blue hand Pilots are Holy grail among HMTs. HMT did re release a terrible version with printed dials and mismatched hands a few years ago which has caused the OG version to appreciate more.

I got my Varchas a few days ago.

Attached message was posted in one of the discussion groups by the organizers. As expected, there was a backlash from most of the community, but it seems HMT doesn't care about a watch being limited edition or not. So if someone wants to grab it, this is the time.
