Worth getting it? The movement is fine for that price?

Can anyone help me out? I have shortlisted a watch for a friend but right now, I couldn't afford it (and they jacked up the price.) It's this one here. It reminded me of her and since her birthday is coming up, I was gonna buy this watch (for around 2.5k) but it's 1k extra which is very out of budget for me. Anyone who can help me get something similar and for cheaper? Sorry if this is the wrong thread. Thanks. :)

Hello Guys,
Need suggestions for buying watch in US onl, friend will take it back here.
I tried searching on Amazon and Walmart but after going through the reviews not feeling confident to buy. This is from point of view of originality.
Basically looking for budget seiko 5 or orient bambino/mako/ Kamasu in the range of 200.
Thanks in advance

Just checked out their website. They have really good stuff. How are the straps. The watches are interesting, but seem a bit overpriced. But they are using good movements.
I personally haven't used their straps yet but i have them on my list for my next purchase. I saw a lot of recommendations about their straps over on reddit and insta.

No idea about their watches though

Had booked the Sholavaram III when pre-orders had opened in July, received it after 3 months. I wanted to support an Indian microbrand, overall am happy with my purchase. It's a great looking watch, very sturdy. Prices have increased by 10-12% from then though.

Straps are pretty good, very solid. I still much prefer Hello straps to ajwa.in though, but those are rather limited in range and colours (but he does drop new colourways now and then)

Coros Apex 2 Pro - my daily watch since 2 years. Amazing battery life - I usually charge the watch once in 50 - 60 days.
Wow
Coros is doing to fitness smart watches what DJI and insta is doing to action cameras.

I was very close to buying new coros watch just launched in Sept but they ask permsion to access everything on your mobile through their apps and if you don't it won't operate. Correct me if I am wrong please.

I hate that ...Garmin is straight forward make an account and login through connect app.

Still it is great with what they offer on their $250 watch ...what Garmin offers in their $800 watch.

I was initially skeptical about the brand. before that, I had been using a Suunto Ambit 3 Sport for the past 8 years which served me well. I initially used this only for cycling and running along with a Skagen for work. Now this replaced my Skagen and it is now my daily jewel. The build quality is robust and the battery life is amazing. Yes I agree, My friend uses a Garmin Fenix which we bought at the same time and he always says that he should he should have listened to me and bought Coros.

Wow! can you spill beans on duties paid?

I ordered it from meranom, https://meranom.com

Ordered on the 25th, got it on the 15th, so it was actually pretty quick considering the christmas/new years season.

It cost me 104 USD for the watch, 15 USD for the shipping and I ordered a replacement crystal (cause I know this will get scratched soon) for another 2USD. Customs cost me about 4.5k INR.

Still not bad honestly, I expected to pay around that.
