I bought a lg 3d tv last month but ever since I bought it, I am fed up with it features, Firstly the picture quality wasn't as it was said to be and also somewhere I do experience flicker while watching Spiderman in 3d. Yesterday I was trying to connect my laptop to it through HDMI port but i wasn't able to. Even If the laptop gets connected, the sound continues to come from laptop only not the TV. I don't know what to do.

Hi Manoj.... Welcome to TE
Firstly..... chill & relax.........
:)

There are a variety of reasons why your LG 3D TV is not measuring upto your expectations (least of all it being a defective unit).

1. Study the user manual carefully and understand what each of those features mean.
2. There are many online forums where you will find users who have optimised settings (what values to feed for various settings) for your particular TV model.
3. Regarding flicker - What is your source material (original 3D Blu-Ray Disc; High Quality Rip) ?
4. Does your laptop have sufficient juice to decode the signal - GPU/RAM ?
5. Check other HDMI ports or the Config on your TV again - Both Video (select full 1080p Settings & Audio - toggle through all the options)

Regarding the audio issue, select "HDMI" as the default audio device through the control panel of your laptop. Then the audio will be routed through the TV.

Which is the model no.
How did you connect ur laptop via HDMI/Display port or via VGA port?
You have mentioned that you tried with HDMI but iit did not work. So what connection did you use?
What is the source of the Spiderman movie you played? From laptop/USB Drive or thru DVD/Blu Ray....
