Which Compact Camera Canon SX220 HS or Nikon Coolpix S9100

I have trouble deciding which compact camera to buy. My priority is good optical zoom and good image quality in low light conditions. Also the after sale service should be good

Have zeroed down on 2 cameras Canon SX220 HS and Nikon Coolpix S9100.

Please help me decide.

SX220. Good service. Excellent camera with good low ligh shooting capability.

You might want to check out Sony HX9V also. Its better than nikon on the overall, and in some ways better than Canon.

SX230HS was on goldbox deal on BF for 149$ and guess what i missed it :@

Have seen people tell that Nikon is not that good for P&S.

SX220 HS is exactly the same as SX230 HS bar the GPS. So the former is cheaper :)

With the current dollar rate, shipping, custom(26.3%) and taxes it wouldn't have been such a good deal even if you had got it.

True about Nikon. Not that good a P&S.

My case is different buddy. I am in US currently :)
 
sony HX series cameras are much slower menu wise than canon and also shot to shot.. which can lead to user frustration.
