Graphic Cards Which GPU ?

Beginner
I'm currently in the market for a gpu since my 1660s failed and I have no replacement. I've searched around a lot and currently my options are a galax 3070ti used for 21k a galax 3080 for 26k or i bite the bullet for now and get something cheaper for around 15k like a rx 6600 or even a 1660 super for around 10 since I will upgrade my whole rig in a month or 2. The prices on the 9070 and 5070 don't seem like they will come down anytime soon though.

  • What CPU will you pair this with?
  • What is your monitor (display resolution + refresh rate)?

I'm willing to spend around 30k on a gpu atm if I get a 1440p capable card I'm gonna carry that into my am5 build if I get a 1080p card I'm gonna leave it in this build and give it over to my brother. 9070xt or 5070 prices won't go near msrp for like a year so I'm conflicted whether or not to go second hand 3070/80 or just get a cheaper one and ride it out till gpu prices come down

Currently have a 27" 180hz 1440p monitor and an i5 6600k The Cpu and Mobo Upgrade I'm eyeing atm is around 60k for a 9700x 32gb of ddr5 ram and a mobo with spdif port on the board itself (I forget the specific board i have picked out but it was an MSI pro x670 or x870)
