are u all rite?

1. Ur budget is only 3k so u cant buy a new 8600GT ddr3 (3.4k+) which plays all games on med-low.
2. Ur PSU is of which brand?
3. P4 system cannot play games at high settings, evn on a Rs.8k Graphics card.

^ CPU Limited means that the CPU will be unable to feed the graphics card information as fast as the graphics card can handle it.. There are some games which are heavy on CPU like UT3, WIC, etc and to run such games you need Powerful Dual core CPU along with a good graphics card.. :)

ok.i picked 2 cards .8400GS and 9400GT
am confused about these cards.which card should i pick??
i want to play all games in medium settings.is there any other cards for RS 3000(60$)

SACHIN 1 ---U ARE ABSOLUTELY WRONG........

my friend have 8400 gs and he is playing all games in medium settings.so he suggested me the 9400 gt.

atleast 8600 gt is needed, 8400 gt may play games at medium, low combinations, but you may experience lags as well, check the net for review's regarding the 8400 series, they are not meant for gaming at all. So i would say a NO to 8400 (any series), 9 series is better than 8 only in architecture which is almost like a remake of 8 series, but for gaming on medium 8600 GT is the minimum, it allows to play games at medium settings (recommended and around 3k check in pheripheral's section, bikey has posted its price)

You can get a 8600 GT or 9500 GT for 3k. Both of these are approximately the same and are better than the 8400/9400
