PC Peripherals Which is better kingston or transcend ?

Hey guys,

Question is simple from pros..which is better ram
kingston or transcend 667 Mhz ?

I'm gettin myself 2 * 1 GB Kingston DDR2 667 Mhz RAM but I see spending just 200 rs each on RAM I maybe able to get Transcend 800 Mhz..

....::: In DiLeMmA :::....

Moreover, I'm buying Zebronics LAVA cabi , it comes with 400w smps which I feel wont be sufficient for c2d 2 gig ram, 8600 gt, 2 hdd's ... so which smps you suggest and cheapest please ?

And do I need anything for cooling, If i'm not overclockin....computer will be 24/7 ON..

get amigo real power500w @1700 if ur in delhi...ivegot one runnin stable for my rig
as for the ram...dude..as far as ur gettting those value chips..kingston or transcend doesnt matter mch...get nything u get cheaper....n 667mhz seems fine enugh..
 
not too sure bout that...look out for zebronics GEforce2 cabby, have space for 4 120mm fans + 1 80mm fan...which keeps it cool, have good space, and comes for around Rs. 2400 without SMPS.
 
get @ 4.5 k u get corsair value select. 800 mhs ;)

or try transcend 800 mhs is better :)

corsair dominator will set u back by 8k or more.
 
I donno about DDR2 but in the case of DDR, Kingston was known for reliability but had limited overclockability. Transcend was better w.r.t. overclockability.

Both brands had limited budget overclockability though. Nothing compared to brands like Corsair or OCZ but I'm sure you know that already :).

Check out the Zebronics bijli, its priced similar to lava, it has got a 120mm Blue LED fan in the front , 2 80mm fan in the side panel, 4USB port + audio connection in the front. I bought one for my friend and its really nice.

The Transcend DDR2 800 1GB ram costs arnd 1850 in chennai.
 
kingston has 5 yrs warranty .. whereas transcend has 3 yrs ..

also my kingston value ram ..ddr2 667 mhz - i am using them @800 mhz 5-5-5-22 @ 2T :)

Okay, I'll surely check for that cabinet Saiyan. Secondly would you send me the RAM via courier and I can pay you via Paypal, Net bankin transfer, direct money deposit or money order.

Or someone let me know where to get that TRANSCEND RAM DDR2 800 mhz 1GB for that cheap in Delhi a.k.a Nehru Place ?

see i wont suggest buying of ram from a different state to save 100-200 bucks since if they go bad, it will be a huge expense to get it rmad, but thats my POV, check for yourself whatever suits you better....but Saiyan are you sure bout that price, i think its way too cheap, i dont think NP would have such a price.

how many Watt smps does it have ?

Do I really anything more than 500W Smps due to 250 * 2 hdds
2 * 1 gig ram...8600 gt..mobo..E6550 c2d..
