Which LCD TV - Bravia 32S 32V or 32U

well i totaly agree that it doesnt justify the 15k but since he said money isnt an issue.
the V300A also can accept 1080p but i am talking about new standard 1080p video at 24fps which D300A accepts.

i dint know about this new 24fps thing.. well in tat case d300 might be worthwile..

but i guess its best to go an check out both screens in front of u and then decide rather than relying on spec sheets..!!

budget wise d300 fits in...but i dint find it worth...i mean it looked a little better than the v300 ... if there was a huge difference or if it was full hd i wud go for it . but i dont find that much a difference thats y i was more inclined towards the v series. how r sharp and toshibas?
ans whats this 24 fps ..can u explain it to me

hey buddy if uv got a budget of up2 70k then id seriously consider the hitachi 42" plasma.. trust me ud enjoy a 42" a lot more than a 32" .. and theres a new hitachi 42 incher sellin for 70k.. and its got good specifications aswell as a better resolution/contrast than all these lcds wer discussing here.. just some food for though.. though seriously consider it..

which model hitachi plasma are u talking about, most plasmas in that price range aren't even HD ready they have resolution of mere 852 x480 .
now a bigger screen will be great if u have a higher viewing distance.

well the hitachi model im talking about is P42A01A (i think its the model no, cant remm for sure) .. well anyways i saw an ad during diwali time and it was for 70 odd thousand then.. so now im sure u could get it for about 70k.

The resolution on this tv is 1024x1080.. i know its a little odd.. but i think its better than the lcd tvs..

and as for the viewing distance they say the viewing distance should atleast be 3 times the height of the tv.. so now this one is about 50 cm in height (iv done this myself using a calculator so height may be a little off) an hence the viewing distance should be 150 cm.. which is about 5 feet.. which is normal tv viewing distance..

i would have considered 42" but they wont fit in my living room...in fact i am barely able to fit a 32" so i cant increase the size at all..
how r hitachi lcds compared to the bravias?

dont really know about hitachi lcds.. one thing is for sure they are expensive..

so u might want to reconsider hitachi lcds.. i believe sony is currently giving the best bang for buck in 32" models.. also samsung might be worth a view..

Edit: also im sure ud be having a area of 5 feet for viewing distance.. then how bout considering wall mounting them? or u planin to keep on a table?

distance is fine ..i cant explain why i cant buy a 42" .its a lil complicated.. \
how are toshiba and sharp as compared to sony.
i like toshiba regza too ..clarity in toshiba is better but colors i bravias are amazing.

toshiba i believe is a lil more expensiv than sony.. dont know about picture as iv not seen toshiba/ sony side by side to compare..

Personally if u ask me i always look for vfm in electronics.. followed by brand value/service.. cause probably after a year even if u bought the best (wit a premium of 100% or so.. it would still be outdated.. ) but if u buy a vfm option today.. in a year or so u could upgrade the existing wit a newer model for probably less than the additional expense..

Basically it works like staying 1 step behing the latest technology/ specs.. or in case of tv saving 20-30% by buying the sony rather tan toshiba.. cause sony is any day a good brand alright wit a good service network.
