I've used Thunderbird for a month or so and I really like it.. My vote goes to Thunderbird for its ease of use, it is open source and cross-platform features..

I am using Outlook since ages and actually have no clue about any other client.

But yes i have heard about Thunderbird.

Outlook for me. Never had an issue. Also, the latest Outlook 2010 supports the conversation feature - finally! Have been using it since the beta launched.
