What about Zebby 640W (Diamond Series) or Powersafe 600W. I guess both are around 5k. Are they worth the money.

Both are very good psu's and are worth the 5k. Zebby 640W is now for 5k + taxes btw... :) ... so ill suggest that.

The zebby is good but it only has a max of 25A on the 12V rail. Thats terribly insufficient for SLI IMHO. Get a NeoHE instead... can support upto 38A on 12V.

but if one doesn't want to SLI/CF then the Zebby 640W is more than enough .. imho.

and it makes sense in saving the extra 1.5k.

He explicitly mentioned he wants to go 7900GT SLI in the other thread.

O/T-

I can say i got excellent ASS from Prime for my Antec tricool fan!!:ohyeah:

Silly switch allowed only low and high speed- fan at full blast with med setting!!:@

Spoke to Mr. Gulbir, went to Prime!!:)
Gave me new fan, before i could take the old one out of my bag- no questions, no testing!!:hap2:

And the new one was also the last one in stock for sale!!:)

amazing gesture, since he could have asked me to wait fo replacement and could have made some profit on the one he gave me!!:P

NEO HE is available for Rs.6200 in chennai which is 1000 bux more than zebby 640, since you want SLI go with NEO HE really worth its price.

plusnit got eps conenctor fully modular and mostly the quality is awesome! so is the moduled cables they r soo nice just i c can feel it sometimes .. runs donw my spine like a finger :D :P
conclusion : look no further NEO HE IS THE ONE.

@easy.... what is the update from prime on latest power supplies.. ??

No News - I will ask the next time I speak to Gulbir. He last mentioned he was trying for Fortron or OCZ or Enermax. He was trying most for Fortron but not getting a response.

What's the 12V rating for the Powersafe 600W? Will it run a E6300 OC'ed with say, a 8800GTS?
