Hello e1

i have two configurations in my mind

so please help me out with any 1

my intention is pure gaming(no encoding no other shit)

-E5200(hyper 212 cooler):ohyeah:
-g31
-4gb ddr2 ram
-24"lcd:ohyeah:
-hd 5770 1gb:ohyeah:
[[[[OR]]]]
-athlonIIx4 620
-790gx
-4gb ddr3
-22"lcd
-hd 4850 512mb

im leaning towards the first build
because it has a good monitor and better graphics card
and a processor which is just sufficient for gaming with hd5770

if not ill oc it any way with hyper 212 on it
any suggestions guys
another que-i heard that running ram faster than a cpu doesnt offer any better perfomance is that true?

X4 620 @ 5.3k

MSI 785GM-E51 @ 4.6k

Transcend 4GB DDR3 1333 @ 5.2k

BenQ G2220HD @ 8k

Sapphire HD5770 1GB @ 10.9k

There you go....a 24"??? What's the use? HD5770 cant max out all games at FULL HD anywayz....and 22" is big enuf really....

Processor: AMD Phenom II X2 550 - 5k ( Unlocks to quad with right proccy batch nos )

Mobo: MSI 785GM-E51 - 4.6k

RAM: Transcend 2x2GB DDR3 1333MHz - 5.2k

GPU: Palit/Powercolor 4870 512mb - 8.6k

Monitor: Benq G2220HD 22" - 8k

Total - 31k

Going with DDR2 now is suicidal knowing that DDR2 prices is already very high and will rise further.

The L3 cache is absent in Athlon II x4 620 which is essential for gaming ( more FPS )

Moreover ATI 5770 cannot even beat ATI 4870 . It will not be able to play games at 1920x1080 resolution with all settings maxed out . You will have to crossfire it within 7-8 months.

ATI 4870 is very good for Full HD gaming.

but my smps is a gigabyte superb 460w which doesnt support hd 4870

(in some charts ati 5770 beats hd 4870 though i dont have a link to it right now)

i think going green is better

when hd 5770+smps=hd 4870+smps
