Graphic Cards Whose IQ do you prefer? ATI or NVIDIA?

:rofl: i think same applies to you muzuX2.. so you find ATI is showing better IQ in it.. can you please share where you saw the change..
 
^^I mentioned in my first post, i never had nvidia card.. Most members here mentioned ATI's IQ in 2D looks far better than Nvidia, you are the one who said opposite..thats it..
May i know, on which ATI card you are not satisfied with IQ.. Let i clear you, old ATI cards upto X8XX series didn't support AVIVO saturation.. So, i guess you might have those ATI cards..:)
 
the whites on my ati + viewsonic VG1930 looks yellowish compared to the nvidia + viewsonic CRT and nvidia + dell E198FP @ work

well i have a 9800GTX card and my friend have a 3870 card. i never noticed any difference in 2D applications on the two..
As you are saying that some members here said 2D applications look better on ATI than Nvidia.
i would request them to show the difference. Even that is not the perfect way to show the difference.. If you really want to see that is there any difference in IQ of two companies then i request somebody spend some cash and buy two similar systems and benchmark the two for 2D applications also.
then lets us see who saw gray colour instead of black etc etc.. :rofl:

Either your ATI card or viewsonic VG1930 is suffering from Yellow Blindness..:rofl: consult it to hardware specialist at earliest..:P
 
These sort of polls are influenced by brand loyalty than anything.

Its a sort of like the TG poll (0% of british population ....).

and as stalker pointed out,are you guys seriously looking if every rock is rendered and if there's shimmering et al?!

yeah people have heared ATI's IQ is better so they feel it , if same test is done using nvidia card and they have been told its ATI card they will still say its better . more performance with little less IQ is better than less performance and crap and buggy drivers with higher IQ :rofl:
 
The whole idea of this thread is a simple poll. I am not promoting ATI, i have nothing against Nvidia, i will bloody well ditch ATI and get Nvidia if they have better offering imo (my damn opnion)

Why you guys fighting? Just poll... :-(

all it says to me is that nvidias rocks look a little different and that you play with a split screen with half the screen being rendered by an ati card and the other half by an nvidia card... lol. :rofl::rofl:

guys.. stop over analyzing things.. its just a bunch of games. :cool2:

^^ It hardly matters in the current series IQ is the same. But 2D ATI yet has an edge, I have had a 9800 pro, X1300 IGP, and at present 7900GTO and 2d ATI has a very noticeable edge...

3D i remember, years back, Chaos had done a side by side comparision, between a 6800 series chip and X1900XT, and color reproduction was definitely more vibrant in ATI. However, later Saumilsingh had pointed out that with adjustments in the driver panel, Nvidia can reproduce similar colors as ATI etc...
