all it says to me is that nvidias rocks look a little different and that you play with a split screen with half the screen being rendered by an ati card and the other half by an nvidia card... lol.:rofl:

guys.. stop over analyzing things.. its just a bunch of games. :cool2:

they don't have the texture detail thats supposed to be on them.its nvidia's BS all over again when a new card releases and they release a driver that does this and revert back when the reviews are over with.the 4870x2 and gtx280 comparison had a 9800gtx that showed the same amount of details as the 4870x2 and seeing how the same thing happened when the 8800gt was released i don't think it was a driver bug.

^ trees look better in 9800gtx and rocks look better in 4850 ..

if you are saying so for the last pic i would say they aren't rendered properly the way things are blurring up.other pics are too close for similar comparisons since the vegetation is wind activated.

Here you go guys..

In the first screenshot of the power lines it seems that the Radeon HD 4870’s 4X AA looks better than the GeForce GTX 260’s 4X AA.:ohyeah: Looking at the other two screenshots though we can’t see any difference between 2X and 4X AA in normal view.

In Crysis, we really can’t see any differences in AA image quality at 2X or 4X. However, in the first screenshot of the shack look to the right of the screen, to the roof of the shack in the background. The roof looks slightly more detailed on the ATI hardware, than the NVIDIA hardware. :ohyeah: We don’t really know what this means or which image is supposed to be right, it’s just a difference we noticed.

Here is one more

Once again, there is very little difference between the two in this comparison. Overall, the post-processing appears to be ever-so-slightly more intense on the ATI video card,:ohyeah: but it's a very subtle difference.

i'm looing for more..stay tuned..:P

well if someone say the nvidia don't render things "properly" then he must also accept the fact that the ATi even sometimes forget to render the whole objects :( .. see my the pics above ..... :cool2:

here are these:-

now praise ATI..
link to the articles?and i seriously doubt if it would be same today.when crysis originally came out there were many cases when things wouldn't get rendered properly.will post one of PCGH's comparison between the two camps when i find that.
i played the same level on my 3870 and though the settings might have been different but the lightning wasn't off like in the first pic.
as for last two pics i dunno what are you showing with the red circle.

ATi's default gamma settings is better than nvidia, slightly darker. U can tweak nvidia to same settings.

Crysis, very less differance in vegetation, water IQ, if U see guns and hands, they r rendered differantly, completely opposite, some may prefer ATi, some Nvidia, its personal preferance.

In GTA4, I prefer Nvidia.

I had a 8800GTX before my 4850. I am yet to see any difference in IQ, so I choose the 3rd option. To me, its still looks and feels the same. Maybe its just me, i am more busy in playing rather then noticing any 2 lines missing.

from the PCGH article, showing bugs on nvidia cards with crysis.
PCGH 2900xt vs 8800gtx

but driver bugs are different,to compare IQ using them is pointless.

and the 9800gtx+ screenshot from the earlier review, has more detail than the GTX280 not as sharp as 4870x2.

yeah my mistake,i shouldn't have used "render" but i was running out of time.those trees are blurred heavily just like what ROCKFELLA pointed out inside the house and imo look worse.

by default ATI's IQ is better, there is no question about it.

I have seen many people link to IQ comparison showing the missing item on ATI render. The thing is, ATI admitted those were driver bugs and fixed them immediately in next driver release or hotfix without loss in performance.

Play games like GRID, and you will start noticing the tyre rubber marks and AF quality difference.

Most people wont notice these things at all. The reason for this is that they move from 1 platform to other and thats it. Noone other than reviewers or people with multiple PCs bother to study image quality on ATI or Nvidia cards. But that does not mean there are no difference or Nvidia is just as good.

The Nvidia IQ actually went downhill from G80 to G92.

I recommend everyone professing their profoundly informed views on image quality, to take a blind test.

You will be shocked to say the least.

I have used nvidia 7 series 8 series card, currently using HD 4670. It rocks. ati is better than nvidia.

Outside of perceived differences by most here, I think the accepted brief (among ppl who actually have done side by side comparisons) is that ATi is better at default and nVidia is as good after a little tweaking. All a poll like this does is bring out the fanbois on both sides (how many of u have actually done a live comparison?)

Well, although I own nVidia cards from the start, I would still vote for ATi's IQ. I've seen the difference, and its clearly there. Ati's IQ is better than nVidia.

:ohyeah:
