1. Total abstinence from alcohol and any form of tobacco
2. Maintaining a healthy BMI, physical activity
3. Avoiding sun/UV exposure
4. Getting vaccinated for cancers with a viral etiology - currently hpv and hepatitis B,
5. Joining a screening programme if you're an at risk individual
6. Regular screening for women -mammography, pap smear . Won't prevent but early detection makes a huge difference

I live in village where vegetables comes directly from nearby lands. But i can certainly say food aren't without chemicals because for good health of plants farmers uses pesticides and such chemical products. It is certainly is fresher than what we get on city areas and cheaper. Still we cant escape until we grow our own food at home garden and lands. Farmers are looking for good productivity and profits too. But it is much better to get oil, spices, etc from a market here than buying packaged items. Like for example mustard seed, you buy it and extract oil to use for food it is better than buying packaged one. The leftover mustard seed after extraction is a great food for cows too. Time changed a lot from what i have seen as kid, our village got modernized fast, now it is looking more like small city and food more toxic.

Increase in diagnoses does not necessarily mean an increase in prevalence. You will generally see more cancer diagnoses in more well-off countries, because life expectancy is higher, the mortality from preventable and treatable diseases is reduced, and health screenings are done more often.

Go back to 1990 and you will see fewer cancer cases. But go back another 35 years to 1950s and you will see fewer cases of other diseases as well because often it wasn't even diagnosed what the issue was, people just died without anyone finding the cause.

I hope you and others know about Dr. Robert Malone ( inventer of mRNA technology and not vaccine ) and Dr. Geert Van Den Bosche . Only 2 people were spreading awareness about vaccines. Most likely the document on nature.com titled " Tangling history of mRNA vaccine technology " is removed by **dustry. ... ... ... I know a friend in usa who suddenly died of last stage cancer. ... ( and also cardiac arrest cases ... )
 
My BILs father & his fathers brother both died of liver & lung cancers in 2005. Both does not smoke, drink or eat outside. They carry their own water bottles where ever they used to go. Tell me how in the hell did they get this cancer? My own sister (uterus cancer) in 2022 & BIL (Lymph nodes cancer) in 2020 and are now completed chemotherapy but BIL's cancer cannot be cured doctors are saying but life can be extended for some time. Both my sister & BIL does not eat non-veg, does not smoke or drink. My sister & BIL stay in Toronto and got treated there.
 
Avoid
  1. Packaged foods that contains preservatives.
  2. Microwave Oven
  3. Some chemicals coated non-stick cookware's.
Western Studies/Theories are not 100% suitable/cover Indian/Asian Populations (good for reference but ....)

Agree with @bssunilreddy , also know one lady who do not have any bad habits etc. still died with cancer as it diagnosed on last stage.

This is confusing. Prevalence is defined as recorded occurrence rates, or "cases" of the diseases per capita, so given everything else is equal, increase in diagnoses directly increases prevalence. "Case" comes only after diagnosis. Since diagnosis is the action that is causing the "recording" of the occurrence of the disease, a necessary and sufficient factor for becoming a number in "prevalence", prevalence is clearly an increasing function of diagnoses.

Now in the special case of obvious diseases like dwarfism or total blindness, generally increase in diagnoses won't lead to increase in prevalence, but obviously we are not taking about those here.

Not sure whether I was techinically correct in my usage of those terms, what I was trying to say is more cases of cancer doesn't mean cancer is increasing, it could just mean you're finding more of it that would otherwise go undetected.

Sun exposure has its benefits of course but sunlight exposure almost always the cause for non melanoma type skin cancers
 
My law classmate from Hyderabad got diagnosed with Multiple sclerosis in 2015 at the age of 32. On Wednesday he came to see me and it became worse as he could not even walk properly. He is saying that he stopped taking medication because when he took it resulted in Sugar levels increasing which is the cause of steroids in the meds. He only does Yoga regularly & takes ayurvedic meds. His father died due to Blood Cancer in 2017 while his mother was diagnosed with Breast cancer in 2023 and took treatment in Chennai and recovered fully. He came to see me by spending almost Rs.3k for to & fro cab for a distance of 150kms because he was saying that he is returning to Hyderabad on 15,Feb and might not be able to meet me again because his condition was worsening. He asked me to cook Chicken Fry as he is a brahmin & his mother does not cook him so my wife came home from office and almost cried seeing his condition because she knew him before as a very healthy man.
