Laptops Why did this happen?

Hi, please refer to the image below. The 'My Computer' icon has changed colour and I cannot bring back the original colour. I have noticed this happening in my desktop as well. All I did was play Age of empires I , and changed the screen resolution setting on the game. please help.

silly me! :) i solved it. went to control panel > display > desktop > customise desktop > then changed the desktop icon to something, and then restored default. and wolla! done! :)
 
check if your screen resolution quality is set to 32 bit color otherwise download tweakui and use the repair icons function

Right clickon desktop, go to properties->settings and then set the color to 32bit.

OR

:P Start/play age of empires again and then quit it properly. That should bring it back to normal

EDIT- Damn I am getting old and slow :(

ha ha yes i know. any suggestions on which games i can play on my laptop? Specs:

AMD Athlon 1.9 X2
NVIDIA 7000M
512 MB RAM (will increase it to 1.5 GB out of which 286 MB will be taken up by the graphics card)
