Graphic Cards Why do ppl always prefer ATI over Nvidia

I personally prefer nv for their driver support specially for linux and they offer things next day [new opengl, kernel and xorg supprt]

But statement like ATI is crap and so on is uncalled

More people in the world choose peace of mind over VFM and hence nvidia is the current market leader

Really ? Now from where did you get that stats ? All I read that nv made more than $100 billion loss ! Nvidia posts continued losses, optimistic revenue outlook - The Tech Report
