Now there's rascists everywhere but i'm curious to know what basis you used to classify entire countries as rascist in the here & now.
I wasn't there when i pulled out historical references so what does that mean? I wasn't there when the indians were attacked. I wasn't there when bihari's got attacked but i was still in mumbai. I still cite those events. Does it matter that i was 50 miles away or 500 or 5000?
I never said that the whole population was racist. I'll tell you about people who went to places we talk about. I have read dozens of articles where indian journalists went to pakistan and wrote fine things about hospitality and care. You talk about the similar things. Then why is that i still think pakistan is racist or intolerant? Why did i point out suburbans white trash infested neighborhoods in US/australia. I never went there or got to read articles in news papers about red necks. Obviously, i was citing information in got from friends, people who live or who have lived there just like you. I have and still participate in underground forums. Those are the places where you get candid information.

If say, oz decided it would not allow any more indians to enter their country, your argument might have had more merit.
India along with china is THE market where every businessmen from every country wants to do business in. Why would they want to lock themselves out by getting into the faces of indian diplomats? Read
this BTW
Then why did i take sides?
I just do it to engage in arguments. If people on this forum were cursing australia in this thread then i would have taken the australian side.
Do i think racism was involved in australia?
Yes. That's a gut instinct. Not one of reason.

I lived in the UK for many years and have on occasion experienced what you said in the surburbs but it never got to the point where i could classify an entire country as such.
A white man is a very tough nut to crack. You need to feed him enough to open him up. White pride is something they don't talk about. Indians have a lot of secrets and we know they got there secrets.

What's troubling is you use these countries past wrongs as a justification for us to do no better. In short the 'everyone does it' argument. Are these the kind of stds you want us to emulate ? otherwise why defend this sort of behaviour.
Prosperity does amazing things to people.

Im confused!

Look at how easily you put down people of other cultures and counties saying they are this, they are that, they stole someone else's land
Did i lie?
You don't forget the past. The past is there to make you and others realize the mistakes. It is there to punish you. If isn't there to be forgotten. Else why don't they forget the holocaust? Why won't they forget the 1984 sikh riots? Why won't they forget the babri masjid demolition? Why won't they forget the godhra massacre? Yes! Why should you forget years of british rule? Why should you forget that the muslim invaders slaughtered 8 crore hindus and buddhists? Do you think the native indians in US have forgot? We are free but there still under foreign rule. That is what "avatar" tried to say.
Who ever said that history should be forgotten is a dangerous thought.

we are still great no matter what without seeing that we are same as everyone else and without trying to better ourselves rather than trying to preach to others what we do not practice.
I never said we are great. Saying that Mr. A is great doesn't automatically mean that Mr. B is not great. You are making your own stories here.
Lord Nemesis said:
In fact if you are against the discrimination in other countries while ignoring it in our own country
...
you are yourself a racist no better than one in any other country of the world.
I never said i ignored the discrimination in my own country.
Im against discrimination here and im against discrimination elsewhere. Now your putting words into my mouth and based on that you call me a racist? Are you ok?
Lord Nemesis said:
You say that internal shit is no business of Australians, agreed, but isn't it our business at least especially when we want to want preach to Australia how they should behave. You want to dictate how Australians should behave in Australia.
What happens in india is none of australia's business. I said that because when we pointed at them, they pointed back at us. The fact is the victims in australia are "indians" and speaking for them is our business.
Lord Nemesis said:
Isn't it their own internal matter even if Indians are involved?
Indians are indians and whatever happens to them is an indians business. The indian govt. allows indians to visit australia and study there assuming that it is safe. If there are attacks, then it is india's job to call on australia to look into the attacks. If australia fails to do that then we will have to issue a travel advisory. We may even have to bar australians from doing business in india. Disallow them from exporting goods to india. That is how the world works. India can choose to stop but the world won't.

Isn't it also a form of racism to discriminate against cricket players who have nothing to do with the violence. If you respond to racism with racism, the mutual hate is only going to increase.
Im not a pacifist. There is nothing more illogical than that.
