or this Flipkart: Netgear Wireless-N 150 Router: Router and its cheap, why so much price difference, sorry i am not so geeky about these things hope, you can help, have bsnl connection with old type modem

you can suggest any other modem in 2.5k range

need good range too between floors. I just use for browsing, no games, no videos.

Try to see if you can pick up a Belkin. They have lifetime warranty, had RMA'd one of mine yesterday, that too by accel. Got it replaced on the spot.

@soulman this one Flipkart: Netgear Wireless-N 150 Router With Modem: Router is a wireless Router + modem i.e adsl to wireless connectivity (no need of BSNL modedm with this)

whereas this oneFlipkart: Netgear Wireless-N 150 Router: Router is just a wireless router (it will give wireless connectivity coupled with your old modem ). and hence the diff. in price

one is router another one is router+modem

Which is better getting all in one router+modem or Router is enough?

We have to keep two devices ON router+ BSNL modem

or we can use single device!

it depends on your preference.If u need internet access and occasional downloading then a single unit suffix.On the other hand if u need print server+torrent downloading using router+NAS then buying a separate router is more useful.

@vip: I just need it for browsing, no heavy downloads and streaming! My connection is slow 512kbps. I just need a good range, I will keep the modems on the 1st floor and browse on my lappy on the ground floor!
