Windows 8 Drivers

I tried updating the 3870x2 drivers using windows update today, it failed.
but somehow it installed my SAA7130 tv tuner drivers automatically.
 
@skumar9988: thanks for the screenies,win8 looks good,did u tried any game yet ? what about steam ? BTW who is Seema ( don't curse me for that) ?

do we have flip 3d on windows 8 64 bit ?can i select mouse hot keys for flip 3d rather than holding windows button and tab combination on keyboard .i have installed a software called flip 3d from cnet and now i can customize hot keys for flip 3d from mouse. And what about the infamous problem with 7 64 bit Sp 1 " display driver stopped responding and has recovered".

cool.since it run street fighter 4 -which is a console port, running fine,,pretty stable version i will say.
 
Used 8 on my C702TU and it did not install the mouse & display drivers by default. Rest of the drivers:sound, modem, keyboard were pulled from net.

Had to get out the drivers form the dektop and install....

Also installed aurora instead of IE10.

Also heating up my laptop + felt things were slower than in 7.

And where is the goddamn shutdown/restart button?

LOL! Hover near the Start button and click on settings. Another green sidebar would appear with the shutdown button. Annoying! Seriously!

True, but since i did not know how to shutdown the system, opened up the system32 folder, started cmd and ran the shutdown /s command.

Feel as if W8 is very buggy/slow. Plus got rid of the MetroUI by editing a registry key. Only thing is that MS now has placed a watermark on my screen saying i am violating some terma and conditions; IMHO total :bshit:
 
Seriously, guys who are complaining of the OS being buggy and all, what the hell were you expecting from a pre-beta release? It's not even beta! :|
 
yep its not beta. IINM its milestone 3.

Didnt find any bugs with the OS but having issues running games. Crysis 2 has issues when i run in DX11 mode. The Cursed Crusade crashed to desktop immediately.

Alice : Madness Returns however works flawlessly. There are some issues with Asus Xonar DX when i run it in spdif mode, upsacling by PrologicII doesnt seem to work well. Forced to use my AMP to upscale. Other than that the net connection (MTNL using K4505 dongle) seems to drop very frequently and it just wont reconnect automatically.

Nothing more other than these.

We are not complaining, but rather pointing it out! This is for the benefit of others. :P
