Windows Vista 26 is Out !!!!!!

Good to see Android 16 coming out. I was waiting patiently for it so I could install the latest LineageOS without having to reinstall it when it came out. Don't know long it will take for LineageOS developers to make a ROM on it.

I suggest you wait for Roms like Pixel OS ,Pixelage OS etc to enjoy the Full on Google Update goodies. Lineage OS is good but it's like bare bones of Android.
there used to be devs who used to port Stable Android OS GSI as Roms asa the Update is out but it's rare these days.

Ah the vista days, microsoft cooked really hard, they went from XP to this in one iteration.

I use a phone (OP7) purchased in 2019 so its battery has degraded a bit, combine that with the fact it came with just 3700mAh capacity on launch means its barely holding a days worth of charge. I want a bare-bones android because of that reason. Plus you can choose how much of Google goodies you want as it doesn't come with google services itself so you have to rely on separate ones which you will flash after installing the ROM. Officially it supports MindTheGapps only but you can install whichever google app packages you prefer (like nikgapps).

My exact thought watching that video. This was fine for stationary use like with windows vista on a computer but for phones where you are always on the run? Nah.

Readability: I have been using iOS 26 since morning. No issues with readability. The liquid glass looks so much better in person than in videos.

Problem with history is that we only remember what we saw and tend to act like something has never happened if we never knew that it happened.

Vista vs Leopard. It was absolutely one sided fight. Leopard was so much more reliable, consistent compared to Vista and to be honest, there was no comparison.
7 vs Snow Leopard : Though MS came back strong, it was still Snow Leopard that came out ahead thanks to its better kernel and features. Both 7 and Snow Leopard were more like service packs over vista and leopard respetively.

Back then, Apple won both fights. For the liquid glass design, Leopard and iOS 7 are spiritual predecessors.
