the one mohit has is a pcx.. that is it is a pCI card. not a pci-e...

his card can fit into the pci slot of your mobo... the same slot where you would fit in a soundcard if you had one :)

dude .. its a PCI EXPRESS 128MB card .. not a PCI card. one of the very first PCIE cards infact.

EDIT : and PCX does not mean PCI .. it means PCI-EXPRESS .. even leadtek pci-express cards are named as PCX.

then which was the pci card i used??

cause i had used a pci card and the label on it was 5300.. .. in my previous mobo!! so i thought yours was the same!! well my bad.
 
wait till wed/thu ill most prolly be selling my 6200 tc few months old :D will start a new thread/ post back 2u,jus waiting on a new gfx card :P
 
i got it from my enginneer as a week`s replacement for a mx440.. my card had a problemm .. and he fitted a pci card into my mobo.. i remmeber the name cause i removed it to chk . cause this wasthe first time i was seeing a pci graphic card!

and i also know that the 5200 also came in a pci flavour . initially.. dunno the exact model number though .. :)
