I guess even 3.5k is a good deal as the only reason someone would sell it is if they are upgrading to a bigger model.

A new one is for 4K odd, most who own one bought it when it was at 3.1K-3.5K odd or used one from others upgrading to higher rated ones and ppl want 3.5K for their used ones- sheesh. :P
Sato- if you willing to spend 3K odd and can give the plain jane looks and the bare cables a miss, give a thought to owning a brand new Antec EA380- subject to rig specs of course. :)

used to be Seasonic oem, 2 x 12v rails of 17A each, 80+ certified, 3 yrs warranty, cool and quiet, ...
3.1K odd in Mumbai, so mostly cheaper everywhere else. :P
 
^^hey, ty for the input.yes i dont need the Looks but Dont think the EA380 handle well (80+ eff) if i OC my proccy to 4Ghz in future? -> E7200, XFX 8800GT XXX or maybe HD4850, 2GB OCZ Ram(maybe 4GB in near future), Some High CFM Fans, 3/4 HDDs.. Moreover i dont want to run on full load.

I have a limited budget n hence looking for a Used SMPS. Any Antec/Corsair/Tagan with a silent fan n good efficiency :)

Massive?? :O then get something better than the VX450 too, for sufficient headroom. :P

The usual 6.5K-7K odd somethings are always there. :gap:
Else get an Antec EA650 if on a tight budget- 5K odd and vvfm imho.
Peace of mind for any "massive" whatever. :P

If buying Antec products or any other product for that matter, esp psus, stick to reputed dealers who handle rma. :)
 
^^ IMHO a 380W 80% efficiency PC should easily handle a quad core (overclocked), 4 GB Ram, 3 - 4 hard disks + fans + 1 4870 card easily. The only thing that will cause problems is if you add another 4870 card and do SLI.

Else it should easily handle any single GPU system.
 
First sato overlook my OT,
3k~3.2k shipped for VX450 is fair price.I sold mine two months back at 3k (when actual price was above 4k)
Well wait someone to start clearance sale "clearance word in title" rock these days :rofl:
+1 to Bikey previous suggestion but once "Massive" came into picture increase budget for sufficient headroom.

i NEVER want to SLI/CF nor im going to buy a QUAD :) EA380 it is?!
