As much as we think this is about some religious bends, people tend to believe in anything which promises them betterment in life. And even the so called "atheists" fall into this trap.

My first hand experience was attending something called "Landmark Forum". One of my senior colleagues had attended it. They had drilled into this mind that if he din't bring at least one more "bakra" he was not helping people. So he used to wait near the gates for me every Tuesday. I had to avoid him by taking another gate. He finally got hold of me and took me to one of the seminars. It was no better than this video. People getting up and piling on quite a lot of BS. Higlights was a person cured of homosexuality.
After the session, the trainer tried to induct me. When I said no, he talked about giving me "Power for Free! Free! Free!". Made me cackle a lot. The final salvo is why can't you join, is it about money? And that is something which they try to hurt your ego.

Yea I've seen it but I thought India had been spared this faith healing BS at least, quite silly of me to think it wasn't possible in a country where people pay 2k to listen to Nirmal Baba's solutions.
