My el cheapo controller just conked off & well in need of a sturdy controller now.

How much does the Xbox 360 controller cost right now?

My friend told me to get the wired controller which comes for the 360 console & download some drivers for it over the internet.He said it costs a few hundred bucks less than the official controller for PC.

So guys need your suggestions out here.Thanks in advance.

I thought there was only 1 controller, the same one valid for both....
 
I don't know much on the MS side either, hence the query.;)

So if there's just one then what's the cost right now? How easy is it to get accustomed to? I mean all this time I have been adjusted to a PS2 controller.So hope this one is easy to adapt to.:ashamed:
 
i think the wire usb one costs around 1300 rs and 2300rs for the wireless one but you would need an extra wirless reciever module which cost around 1100rs
 
So basically get the wired controller and you are set. :) DOnt ask me about adjusting to it, me still thinkin bout getting one or not cos me basically a keyboard person :ashamed:
 
Hell no.I'm sticking to the wired one only.How much warranty would I have for this controller? 1 year?
 
only 1300 for the wired one, is it indian rate with taxes and warranty all. can it be used with xbox 360,
 
i got it for 1.2k from E guy ... mine is a microsoft 360 wired controller.. download drivers from mcft site and for configuring controls go 2 xpadder and read the guide and get started..:hap2: :)

E Guy? Anyway doesn't the controller package come bundled with a driver disc? Anyway I am going to look for one today at Croma.Let's see if I have any luck.
 
yes the controller comes bundeled with Driver Disc ,for vista u dont need drivers disc, its only for XP ,i picked one last week for 1600/- its working like charm,the length of the cable is good enough its abt 4~5 mts
 
The Xbox controller ROX . . but do get the wired one. . because of the simple reason that the wireless model is heavy coz it has batteries in it. and you will rarely sit so far from your computer while playing that you will need to go wireless.

Just a personal preference :D

got it ion ****** man ... disc and al comes... jsut donwload xbcd drivers or xbox 360 contorller driver from microsft and some games it s a pain conguring controles so go for xpadder profiles///:hap2:

Woah! Is it really that costly? I can spend 1.3k but 1.6k is a bit too much.Can anyone please quote the latest or official price?
